- What is MyTwig?
- MyTwig is a desktop Git client, a Git GUI, for macOS, Windows and Linux. It shows your repository as a commit graph and lets you stage line by line, merge and rebase by drag and drop with a preview first, resolve conflicts side by side, and review pull requests and CI logs without a browser.
- Is MyTwig free?
- MyTwig is in Public Beta and free while the beta lasts, with no license to enter. If you use the beta, you get a year of updates after launch, counted from launch day.
- Do I need Git installed?
- Yes. MyTwig uses the Git already on your computer, version 2.32 or later, with your own config, credentials, hooks and signing keys.
- Which hosting services does it work with?
- GitHub and GitHub Enterprise Server, GitLab (including self-managed), Gitea, Forgejo (including Codeberg) and Bitbucket Cloud. Any other Git remote works for fetch, pull and push.
- Does MyTwig send my code anywhere?
- No. There is no account and no telemetry. MyTwig only talks to your remotes, the forges you sign in to, the AI provider you pick (if any) and github.com for updates.
- Is MyTwig related to other software called Twig?
- No. MyTwig is one word and lives at mytwig.herosizy.dev. It is not the Twig template engine and is unrelated to other apps that use the name Twig.
